Drummer Joe Russo will perform with The Slip at the 2022 Harvest Music Festival. Russo will cover for the trio’s regular drummer, Andrew Barr, who was recruited to tour with Feist in September.
The Slip featuring a lineup of guitarist Brad Barr, bassist Marc Friedman and drummer Joe Russo will play at the Harvest Music Festival on September 15. The event runs from September 13 – 18 in downtown Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Other acts set to perform at the festival include The War On Drugs, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, JJ Grey & Mofro, Amanda Shires and Blue Rodeo. Andrew Barr will be back behind the kit for “As Summer Into Autumn Slips.” The three-day music event presented by JamBase spans October 7 – 9 at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts. Brad Barr, Andrew Barr and Marc Friedman will perform at all three nights. The first night will find the trio teaming up with Nathan Moore and Marco Benevento as Surprise Me Mr. Davis before The Slip performs headlining sets on Saturday and Sunday.
