Soccer Mommy (Sophie Allison) released a new single, “newdemo.” The track is set for the singer-songwriter’s forthcoming album, Sometimes, Forever, arriving on June 24 via Loma Vista Recordings.
Allison announced Sometimes, Forever in March and shared the lead single, “Shotgun.” Tracks “Unholy Affliction” and “Bones,” which arrived with a tour announcement, followed ahead of the latest and final advance Sometimes, Forever single, “newdemo.”
“I didn’t want to make something super depressing without any sense of magic,” Allison said about the new single. “We played around with the space to make the song feel vast, so ‘newdemo’ had a huge transformation in the studio. It’s one of my favorites off of the record.”
