Popular Grateful Dead cover band Joe Russo’s Almost Dead are set to kick off their 2019 concert campaign with a three-night run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York this weekend (January 18th-20th). The band comprised of Joe Russo, Scott Metzger, Marco Benevento, Tom Hamilton, and Dave Dreiwitz, will look to carry over the momentum for what was a pretty successful year of national growth in 2018, with stand-out performances at jam-friendly festivals like Peach Fest, LOCKN’ and Sweetwater 420 Fest. Fans who couldn’t snag tickets or won’t be attending this weekend’s shows for one reason or another will now be able to tune into the live webcasts courtesy of Relix.
All three performances on Friday/Saturday/Sunday will be streamed via The Relix Channel. Fans can head over to the page to pre-order for all three nights at a discounted rate of 15% if purchased together with the weekend bundle package.

JRAD, as they’re commonly referred, will continue their 2019 winter tour next month with scheduled performances in Atlanta; St. Louis; And Madison, Wisconsin, followed by shows in throughout the northeast in March. The tour will rock and roll right into spring and summer with headlining dates scheduled to continue into September. The band was also recently announced as part of this year’s Bonnaroo Music Festival down in Manchester, Tennessee in mid-June, marking their official debut at the beloved jam-friendly summer weekend event.
Relix also recently announced the initial plans for the 2019 edition of their annual Live Music Conference. This year’s two-day conference and panel will take place on May 14th and 15th at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City, the same when where Joe Russo’s Almost Dead came into existence back in 2013.
