Lady Gaga brought The Chromatica Ball to Atlanta on Friday evening for a performance at Truist Park.
The night included fan-favorites from her extensive discography such as “Bad Romance”, “Poker Face”, and “Born This Way”, a number of selections from the tour’s titular album, 2020’s Chromatica, and even a rendition of her A Star Is Born collaboration, “Shallow”, along with her famous flurry of costume changes and elaborate production.
Even with 13 pyrotechnic flame-heads shooting 60 feet into the air from multiple stages and an array of towers, Lady Gaga’s larger-than-life stage presence seemed to burn brightest of all throughout the performance. Her magnetism was perhaps most apparent during the show’s third of four “acts,” when she emerged on a stage at the center of the park for a run of powerul solo piano numbers.
The “Little Monsters” in the crowd matched the singer’s energy all night long, roaring along to each hit song, each off-hand musing, each bold statement on the state of the world (from the fallout of COVID to her implied disapproval of Georgia’s regressive reproductive laws).

The trip to East Asia will be short-lived as shows in San Francisco, CA (September 8th) and Los Angeles, CA (September 10th) will call her back to the States.
