STS9 Plans ‘The Human Dream’ New Year’s Eve Run In Denver

51

STS9 will celebrate New Year’s Eve in Denver with a three-night run at The Fillmore Auditorium, the band announced on Tuesday. Set for December 29th–31st, the run has been dubbed The Human Dream as the band prepares to honor “the dream of human life.”

Pre-sale tickets to the STS9 New Year’s Eve run at The Fillmore in Denver are available beginning at 3 p.m. ET on the group’s Bandcamp. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 12 p.m. ET.

This announcement comes after STS9 was forced to postpone its four-night 2021 New Year’s Eve celebration at The Eastern in Atlanta in the face of rising COVID cases due to the Omicron variant last winter. The livetronic pioneers ultimately staged the concerts on June 2nd–5th, kicking off a string of summer concerts that included the band’s annual Colorado run with shows at Red Rocks Ampitheatre and Levitt Pavillion, as well as a set at the inagural Sacred Rose late last month.

STS9 will wind down the summer this weekend with a set at Brooklyn Comes Alive on September 17th, joining a lineup of LettuceCool Cool Cool, and Medeski Martin & Wood at the Brooklyn Mirage [get tickets]. The band also has mutli-night engagements planned at The Mishawaka in Bellvue, CO (9/23–25); Salvage Station in Asheville, NC (10/21–22); and The Caverns in Pelham, TN (11/4–6), as well as festival sets at Wakaan Fest and Hulaween.
