Yeah Yeah Yeahs were the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday. The rockers delivered their song “Burning” for the late night television appearance.
“Burning” appears on Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ — Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase — new album Cool It Down, which arrived today. The trio released the song as a single in August, with Karen O noting:
“If the world is on fire I hope the most beloved stay protected and that we do all we can to protect what we cherish most in this life. ‘Burning’ is a song about that feeling, smoke signals for the soul. Begging to cool it down, just doing it the best we know how.”
