Bobby Weir and Wolf Bros featuring The Wolfpack horn and string section will embark on a month-long winter tour to start 2023. The run includes dates in the Southeast, Northeast, Midwest, Texas and more with a previously announced series of orchestral shows in Atlanta among the stops.
The group consisting of Bob Weir on guitar, bassist Don Was, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and drummer Jay Lane will be joined by pedal steel guitarist Barry Sless and The Wolfpack (Alex Kelly, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Mads Tolling and Sheldon Brown) quintet for the duration of the trek. Weir and the ensemble start the excursion in North Charleston, South Carolina on February 2 and then head to Florida for shows in Jacksonville on February 3 and Fort Lauderdale on February 4.
Port Chester, New York’s The Capitol Theatre hosts the group on February 7, 8, 10 and 11 ahead of the symphonic shows in Atlanta February 17 – 19. Additional February dates follow in Memphis (February 21); Asheville, North Carolina (February 22); Chattanooga, Tennessee (February 24); Louisville (February 25); Detroit (February 26) and Madison, Wisconsin (February 28).
The March portion of the tour begins in St. Paul, Minnesota on the 1st. From there, the group hits Ames, Iowa (March 2); Omaha, Nebraska (March 4); Kansas City (March 5); Austin (March 7 & 8) and Dallas (March 9). Weir returns to Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium to close the tour with a two-night run on March 11 and 12.
