Futurebirds confirmed 2023 winter tour dates. The Athens, Georgia-based band will kick off their fourth annual Black Diamond Tour, presented by Teton Gravity Research, on February 4 at Denver’s Ogden Theatre with special guest and collaborator Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket.
Futurebirds will then fly back to their native Southeast for previously announced dates in Carrboro, North Carolina on February 24 and Greenville, North Carolina the following evening. March 2 will see the band in Baton Rouge, Louisiana ahead of a concert in Houston on March 3.
Futurebirds resume the Black Diamond Ski Tour with a two-night stand at Sheridan Opera House in Telluride, Colorado March 17 and 18 followed by an engagement in Aspen, Colorado on March 20. Two nights at the Ivy Ballroom at the Surf Hotel in Buena Vista, Colorado follow on March 25 and 25 before the band concludes the ski run at the Rendezvous Fest in Jackson, Wyoming on April 1.
The band then has a show on the books at the Sharon Jones Amphitheatre in North Augusta, South Carolina on April 8 ahead of a previously announced appearance at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival in May.
