Tedeschi Trucks Band will hit the road this summer for a tour featuring support from Ziggy Marley and Vincent Neil Emerson. The new slate of dates kicks off with homecoming shows at Jacksonville, FL’s Daily’s Place on June 22nd and Atlanta’s Fox Theatre on the 23rd and 24th.
Among the 17 concerts announced are some new stops including Toronto and Kansas City. Also new to this summer tour, Tedeschi Trucks Band will perform with just one opener each night, allowing for longer sets as the band can dive deeper into its extensive songbook. Country and blues singer-songwriter Vincent Neil Emerson will help open the first few dates of the tour and return in late July for the final five stops. All through the interim, reggae legacy Ziggy Marley will provide support.
These new concerts come in addition to the band’s previously announced runs at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA (6/27, 6/28) and the tour closer at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (7/28, 7/29). Throughout the spring and summer, Tedeschi Trucks Band will also perform at the Savannah Music Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and The Peach Music Festival.
