Tegan and Sara added tour dates to their 2023 itinerary with support from Hand Habits, Dragonette and Carlie Hanson on select dates. The Canadian twin sister duo also announced plans to release a graphic novel, Junior High, arriving on May 30 via Farrar, Straus and Giroux – Macmillan.

Junior High is the first of two graphic novels in a series Tegan and Sara Quin have in the works. The graphic novel contains artwork from Eisner Award-winner Tillie Walden and “explores growing up, coming out, and finding yourself through music and sisterhood,” as per a press release. Junior High is a prequel of sorts to Tegan And Sara’s memoir, High School.

The duo also announced another slate of 2023 tour dates on their Crybaby Tour around their 2022 album of the same name. The first new date in the U.S. takes place at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on June 20 ahead of a swing through St. Louis the following evening. Tegan And Sara will also appear at the Sommo Festival on Prince Edward Island in Canada on July 14.

The bulk of the new dates take place in September beginning with a concert at First Ave in Minneapolis on September 12 followed by a show in Pittsburgh on September 16. A Long Island play in Huntington, New York takes place on September 20 before the duo heads up to Boston on September 22.

Tegan And Sara begin a Southeast swing on September 26 at the Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina. Shows in Charleston, South Carolina and Durham, North Carolina follow ahead of an Atlanta play. The last new date on the books so far is in Orlando on October 3.
