Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra laid out plans for their 2023 Spring Tour. Bookended by appearances at Skull & Roses and their own Dark Star Jubilee festival, the headlining run focuses on the East Coast.
DSO performs at Ventura, California’s Skull & Roses Festival on April 21. After a few weeks off, the group returns to the road starting in South Carolina with concerts in Columbia on May 12 and Charleston on May 13. Next comes a visit to North Carolina for shows in Raleigh on May 14 and Wilmington on May 16.
The tour rolls into Norfolk, Virginia on May 17. Dark Star Orchestra then returns to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York for concerts on May 19 and 20. From there the group hits the familiar confines of Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania on May 21 before hosting Dark Star Jubilee at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio over Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 – 28.
