Jenny Lewis released a new single, “Giddy Up.” The track will appear on the singer-songwriter’s upcoming album, Joy’All, on June 9 via Blue Note/Capitol Records.

Hemled by renowned producer Dave Cobb, Joy’All is Jenny Lewis’ first album in four years following 2019’s On The Line. Jenny’s new record sees contributions from Cobb on guitar along with drummer Nate Smith and bassist Brian Allen. Additional performers include Greg Leisz (pedal Steel, B-Bender guitar), Jon Brion (Chamberlin keyboard) and Jess Wolfe of Lucius (vocals).

Lewis heralded her new record with the single “Psychos” back in March. The singer-songwriter’s 2021 single “Puppy and a Truck” will also appear on Joy’All. The latest preview is “Giddy Up,” which a press release described as “an ode to listening to your inner self when asked to ‘take a chance on a little romance,’ ‘Giddy Up’ is sure to be the irresistible slow jam anthem of this spring season.”
