Tool has announced an extensive North American tour set to take place in the fall of 2023. The tour will feature the lauded alt-metal outfit’s first Canadian shows since 2019. The announcement follows Tool’s recent festival headlining performances at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple in recent weeks.
The fall 2023 trek will begin on September 22nd with Tool’s previously announced headlining appearance at Louisville, KY’s Louder Than Life Festival. From there, an early-October stretch will take the band—comprised of Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar), and Maynard James Keenan (vocals)—to Loveland, CO (10/3), Sacramento, CA’s Aftershock Festival (10/6), and Indio, CA’s Power Trip (10/8). The band will continue on throughout October and November with arena dates throughout the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up with a two-night run in Toronto, ON on November 20th and 21st.
