Lotus has releaseda new live album, Live In Steel City, featuring the band’s final show with late percussionist Chuck Morris, who tragically passed away during a family vacation earlier this year.
Recorded on February 25th, 2023 at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA, the album offers a snapshot of Lotus at full strength, about two weeks before Morris disappeared along with his son Charlie after the pair went kayaking on a lake in Arkansas. The show marked the end of a whirlwind winter tour and sadly, though no one knew it at the time, would be the end of an era for the band. Lotus’ next show would be a benefit concert honoring their fallen brother and his son.

To celebrate the album’s release, Lotus will host a listening party of the full album on Bandcamp tonight, Thursday, August 6th at 6:30 p.m. ET.
