The Caverns will add a new festival to its growing roster in 2024 with the inaugural CaveJam. Set for Memorial Day Weekend at the bucolic campground and concert venue in Grundy County, TN, CaveJam will feature two nights of headliners The String Cheese Incident topping a lineup of 20 artists and bands.
Also tap to celebrate the first edition of CaveJam are soul singer-songwriter Devon Gilfillian, progtronic jam band Dopapod, New Orleans funk staple Dumpstaphunk, budding indie-psych bassist Karina Rykman, ubiquitous festival bard Keller Williams, viral DJ LP Giobbi who will play one of her lauded Dead House sets, and many more. Rounding out the inaugural lineup are Mo Lowda & The Humble, Neighbor, Pimps of Joytime, Pink Talking Fish, Space Bacon, Spafford, Susto, The Vegabonds, BareFuzz, BERTHA: Grateful Drag, Easy Honey, LadyCouch, and Love Rat.
“CaveJam is a new signature festival at The Caverns and builds on everything we’ve learned from two successful years producing many festivals here,” The Caverns General Manager Joe Lurgio said. “CaveJam gives festival enthusiasts a new reason—and a new season—to visit us in Tennessee.”
The String Cheese Incident will perform three sets at The Caverns’ above-ground amphitheater along with one special cave set below ground on Sunday evening. Due to the limited capacity nature of the titular Cavern, attendees will need to secure a spot underground by purchasing a VIP ticket or one of the limited number of three-day GA passes that include underground access.
Tickets to CaveJam 2024 will go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 8th at 12 p.m. CT starting at $99. The festival will also provide a payment plan requiring only $25 down to reserve a ticket. The Caverns will offer a variety of VIP amenities including fully loaded yurt packages, pre-assembled canvas bell tents, and pre-pitched VIP tents, in addition to RV and car camping passes.
