The Marcus King Band Announces Free Webcast From The Capitol Theatre

107

In February, The Marcus King Band announced a pair of intimate shows at Garcia’s—the 250-capacity auxiliary venue attached to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY—on March 6th and March 8th. However, when you’re as hot as The Marcus King Band is right now, sometimes “intimate” isn’t in the cards. Due to overwhelming demand, King and company announced that the second of those two shows (3/8) had to be moved to The Cap’s much larger 1,800-capacity theater, marking the first time The Cap has ever moved a scheduled Garcia’s show to their main stage. The upgraded gig will also serve as The Marcus King Band’s headlining debut at the historic theatre.

Adding to the special nature of the occasion, bassist Stephen Campbell tells Live For Live Music, “It’s my birthday on March 8th! So that’s a pretty cool present in and of itself! I’m stoked as hell!”

Luckily for fans, The Marcus King Band will be streaming Friday night’s show from The Capitol Theatre for free via The Relix Channel.
