DJ Logic has a busy year of tour dates in store for fans in 2024. In addition to this weekend’s DJ Logic & Friends Dead & Co Sphere late-nights in Las Vegas, NV (5/17, 5/18), a run of guest-filled headlining dates in the Eastern U.S., and a handful of notable festival appearances, the versatile DJ announced on Friday that he will serve as a supporting act on a lengthy summer amphitheater tour by OAR.
The renowned turntablist has carved out a unique niche in the jam scene as a creative liaison between the worlds of hip-hop and improvisational instrumentation. He frequently gathers all-star groups of musicians for late-night dance parties that reliably blur the boundaries of genre and create a fusion far greater than the sum of its parts.
The 42-date tour will kick off tonight (Friday, May 17th) and tomorrow (Saturday, May 18th) with a pair of Dead & Co Sphere late-night shows at Las Vegas, NV’s Sand Dollar Downtown featuring Eric Krasno (Soulive), Reed Mathis (Billy & The Kids), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits, Billy & The Kids), and Ben Atkind (formerly Goose). After performing a solo set at Chillicothe, IL’s Solshine Reverie festival on May 26th, DJ Logic will hit the road with a new group of “Friends” including Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), Sam Brouse (Papadosio), Chris Bullock (Snarky Puppy), Claude Coleman (Ween), and Andy Greenberg (Runaway Gin) for a three-night run through the Carolinas stopping in Raleigh (6/6), Asheville (6/7), and Charleston (6/8). The spring leg of the tour will finally come to a close with a Northeast run stopping in Brooklyn, NY (6/21), Bridgeport, CT (6/22), and Red Bank, NJ (6/23) featuring Aron Magner, Cyro Baptista (Trey Anastasio Band), Mike Greenfield (Lotus), and Felix Pastorius.
Following a performance at Peach at the Beach in Atlantic City, NJ on July 13th, DJ Logic will link up with OAR, Fitz & The Tantrums, and Ripe in Raleigh, NC on July 16th to begin a nationwide stretch of amphitheater dates stretching through the beginning of September.
