The Rolling Stones welcomed Tyler Childers to sit in on “Dead Flowers” on Monday night at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.
Childers was among the several artists announced as support for The Stones’ ongoing Hackney Diamonds world tour in April. Others included Widespread Panic, Gary Clark Jr., Lawrence, Carin León, Electric Mud, Joe Bonamassa, The Red Clay Strays, Ghost Hounds, Bettye LaVette, Lainey Wilson, The War and Treaty, The Linda Lindas, and The Beaches.
The alt-country tastemaker and his band served as the opening act for the Stones show in Florida, where he will play a headlining show of his own this Wednesday, June 5th at Tampa’s Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. He returned to the stage toward the beginning of The Rolling Stones’ set to play acoustic guitar and sing along with Mick Jagger and company on “Dead Flowers”. The show also featured the tour debut of “She’s a Rainbow”, which was chosen by fans, narrowly beating out “Bite My Head Off”, “Out of Control”, and “Rocks Off”.
