The Ramble Festival will return to Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, MD on October 11th, 12th, and 13th, 2024 to present a wide-ranging lineup topped by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Devil Makes Three, and moe.
Other top acts at the third-annual Ramble Festival include North Carolina genre-hopping jam band Big Something and Asheville country favorite Town Mountain along with lespecial (x2), Fireside Collective, ShadowGrass, Sneezy, Sicared Hallow, Scrambled Greg (Pigeons Playing Ping Pong), Hayley Jane, and Will Evans. The rest of the 2024 lineup is filled out by up-and-comers including Natalie Brooke, Isaace Hadden, Solar Circuit, Caleb Stine, Hustle Souls, Maygen & The Birdwatcher, The Wright Avenue, Uncle Kunkel’s One Gram Band, Naptown Brass Band, Just Right, and others.
One of the things that sets The Ramble Festival apart from other festivals is its commitment to collaboration. The festival will host another round of its beloved late-night barn superjams—modeled after The Band drummer Levon Helm‘s legendary Midnight Rambles—featuring performances by Big Something & Friends, Shadow Mountain (Town Mountain + ShadowGrass), and The Fiery Sneeze (Fireside Collective + Sneezy).
Another unique element of The Ramble Festival is the employment of buskers who perform throughout the festival, ensuring there is always music in the air. The artists will compete during the festival for a spot on the 2025 lineup in a contest judged by the fans. Other programming includes late-night jams from lespecial and Solar Circuit and emerging artist at large Natalie Brooke.
Located in Harford County, MD, Camp Ramblewood sits on over 200 acres of pristine land. A functioning multi-purpose summer camp location, the venue offers on-site cabins with seven, eight, ten, eleven, or thirteen beds. The primitive cabins provide electricity, semi-private bathrooms, storage space, and shelter from any inclement weather.
