San Cisco are touring the crap out of Australia this year in honour of their new album, Under the Light. As the local indie-pop favourites gear up to kick off the second instalment of their Under The Light regional tour, visiting 15 stages across the country, they’ve also announced a brand new set of Aussie headline shows for this October and November in honour of the freshly-released LP, this time hitting the metros.
They’ll perform six huge shows in Adelaide, Melbourne, Busselton, Fremantle, Brisbane and Sydney, supported by electro-pop trio Haiku Hands and local vibe-maker Touch Sensitive (in DJ mode).
San Cisco – ‘Too Much Time Together’
Released back in March, Under The Light marks San Cisco’s fifth studio album. Featuring a collaboration between the band and producer James Ireland (Cuco, Pond) as well as contributions from Jay Watson (Gum, Pond, Tame Impala), Pond’s own Nicholas Allbrook & Neal H. Pogue (Outkast, Tyler The Creator), the LP sees the trio enter a new phase of maturity, vulnerability and experimentation. The band say the record “truly embodies the genuine essence of San Cisco”.
