solar circuit announces kaleidoscope 2024 fall tour following good time studio release

The jamtronic guardians of Philadelphia’s Solar Circuit are out this summer having a “Good Time“, one that will propel the band through its 2024 Kaleidoscope Tour.

Solar Circuit’s recently issued slate of 16 dates in 13 states includes shows across the U.S. alongside DizgoCycles, Future Joy, and more. The announcement comes on the heels of the band’s latest single “Good Time”, released at the start of the summer.

The Kaleidoscope Tour kicks off with the band’s return to Karnival of the Arts in Kempton, PA on August 30th followed by a headlining appearance at Kipona Music Festival in Harrisburg, PA on August 31st ahead of stops in Providence, RI (9/6) and Burlington, VT (9/7) the next weekend. The Kaleidoscope Tour will get into gear in earnest in October, beginning with a set at The Ramble Festival in Darlington, MD (10/12).

Solar Circuit will then traverse the Midwest with stops in Columbus, OH (10/16, with support from Mind at Large), Chicago, IL (10/17, co-headline with Cycles), and Peoria, IL (10/18, co-headline with Cycles). Heading westward from there, Solar Circuit will make an “evening with” stop in Omaha, NE (10/19) and play a show in Lincoln, NE with support from Midland Band (10/20) before heading to Denver, CO to top a multi-act bill featuring The BuzzBKellZ, and Solflower (10/24).

The Kaleidoscope Tour tour will wind down with Solar Circuit gigs in Independence, MO (10/25), Pryor, OK (10/26), and Morgantown, WV (10/30). While the tour announcement blocks off the next two dates—on Halloween and November 1st—as “to be announced,” the band confirmed that the tour will continue in Buffalo, NY (11/2, supporting Dizgo), with more dates to be announced.

“We really are just feeling so grateful and inspired lately,” keyboardist/vocalist Becca LeVan told Live For Live Music. “The jams have felt more deep and connected than ever between the four of us, continuously writing new music, continuously getting live shows up on nugs, and recently released our newest studio single ‘Good Time’ with a full summer tour surrounding it. So now with that still in full swing, sharing the upcoming Kaleidoscope Fall Tour has been a lot to look forward to.”

Solar Circuit came out of 2023 on a hot streak that included the third installment of its Strange Soiree festival, the band’s debut at The Caverns, and a sold-out New Year’s Eve show in Philly. At the dawn of 2024, the band issued the Controlled Chaos EP, produced by Jesse Miller of jamtronic pioneer Lotus. The band, comprised of LeVan, bassist/vocalist Taylor Jamison, guitarist Nick Orlove, and drummer Rob Fray, has shared the stage with various notable acts from the jam scene including Papadosio, Dopapod, Particle, Spafford, Big Something, and many more.
