In just a few short years, Kendra & the Bunnies have made a name for themselves across diverse corners of the music industry with a singular style straddling the intersection of rock and pop. The group’s latest release, a video for the track “Girls Girls Girls”, deepens their exploration of self-love and empowerment—two themes that lie at the heart of their album with the Politics of Kendra.
Kendra Muecke, the creative force behind Kendra & the Bunnies, emerged from California’s Pepperdine University ready to conquer the world, and so far she is well on her way. The young singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader has earned accolades including two Josie Music Awards for Artist of the Year (Multi Genre in 2021 and Pop in 2022) and recently signed a record deal with Intercept Music, where her music will now be distributed globally through Universal Music Group and released through Ingrooves Music Group (Virgin Music). She also has become a frequent guest on Sirius XM’s Grateful Dead channel, appearing on the Big Steve Parish Show.

“Big Steve and I met through, well, of course, my love for the Grateful Dead, but also Grizzly Peak reached out to me as an influencer and invited me to a meet and greet in L.A. with him when Dead & Co was playing at Dodger Stadium,” Kendra told L4LM. “I gave him one of my albums (of Consideration), and we hit it off. This summer, I was back and forth to Vegas helping him with his residency at the Dead Forever exhibit in the Venetian. It was quite epic, he did his live Sirius XM radio shows there. He took pictures. We took pictures. Everyone told him their story, and we talked about our favorite music. It was an unforgettable experience. I met thousands of people.”
