Keith Urban has announced a homecoming tour of Australia, which will take place in just under a year’s time in August of 2025. The shows are part of Urban’s HIGH and Alive world tour, which he is undertaking in support of his upcoming 11th studio album HIGH (a backronym of How I Got Here). Urban last performed in Australia in December of 2022, which was part of his world tour in support of his 2020 album The Speed Of Now Part 1. The New Zealand-born and US-based singer-songwriter made his return earlier this year with the single ‘Straight Line’ in February. Several further singles from HIGH have been released since then: ‘Messed Up As Me’, the Lainey Wilson duet ‘Go Home W U’ and ‘Heart Like A Hometown’.

Joining Urban on this leg of his world tour will be Chase Matthew, an American singer-songwriter who will be making his Australian debut. The Nashville-based artist released his fourth EP, Always Be Mine, in July of 2024.
Urban is currently in Australia on a promotional visit ahead of HIGH‘s release at the end of the month on Friday, September 20th. Along with appearing on Channel Ten’s The Project, Urban and his band also played a last-minute intimate show at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory last night (September 2nd) where he reportedly played for two-and-a-half hours. Today (September 3rd) saw Urban announce another last-minute show at Lefty’s Music Hall in Brisbane for Thursday, September 5th. The show immediately sold out upon going on sale.

A pre-sale for Urban’s fanclub The Ville will go live from 9am local time on Tuesday, September 10th. The tour’s promoter, TEG Live, will then host its own pre-sale on Thursday, September 12th at 12pm local time ahead of the general sale on Friday, September 13th at 1pm local time.
