Fresh from being announced on the lineups for SXSW Sydney and Lost Paradise 2024, Sydney/Eora indie-rock rising star total tommy has just announced the imminent arrival of her debut album.
Dubbed bruises, the local LGBTQI+ legend’s first LP is due to reach our eardrums on Friday, 29th November, and the announcement comes spiced with the arrival of fresh cut ‘Plus One’, a Garbage-esque romp which, in total tommy’s words, is “about sex, that’s all” (stream below).

The bruises LP was written during a period in total tommy’s life where her world was turned upside down. According to a press statement, “through all the change, even for the better, she has learned that at some point you have to take stock of the bruises you’ve accumulated along the way, and the ones you’ve left others with too”.
The artist has channelled that wisdom into a definitive collection of scuzzy bedroom-rock anthems that make up her highly anticipated forthcoming debut record.
