Jack White and his band The Raconteurs (AKA The Saboteurs here in Aus) are gearing up for a massive 2019, and now they’ve kicked it all off with their first performance in eight years.
Fittingly, the comeback took place at the 10 year anniversary event of Third Man Records in Nashville, and the setlist is something absolutely worth crying over.
According to Consequence Of Sound, White’s mother (bless) introduced the band before they ripped into a massive setlist that included all the band’s biggest hits as well as a whole bunch of other new songs, including the already released ‘Sunday Driver’ and ‘Now That You’re Gone.’
Fortunately, it won’t be a long wait at all for Aussie fans to see The Raconteurs. They’re in the country literally next week for a huge performance at Bluesfest as well as a headline tour of their own.
The band’s new album, Help Us Stranger, is due out on Friday, 21st June.
