There’s been a few last-minute lineup shuffles over at Listen Out, as the travelling festival heads into its final weekend of hip-hop, RnB and dance fun in Brisbane and Sydney.
ICYMI: a handful of big international artists pulled the plug on their appearances in the days leading into the action this past weekend. US rapper and producer Teezo Touchdown cancelled his spot on the whole tour, with Listen Out Promoters posting a vague statement on social media that read: “We have… been informed by management that Teezo Touchdown has cancelled his Australian tour including Listen Out shows.”

New York City rapper Lil Tjay was also forced to pull out of the first weekend of the festival due to “unforeseen circumstances”, but there may still be a hope for an appearance this weekend.
“Unfortunately, Lil Tjay is not performing this weekend due to unforeseen circumstances out of anyone’s control in relation to travel,” Listen Out promoters announced on social media this past Friday. “His team are doing everything possible to be in Auckland and Australia next weekend.”
It comes after South African singer songwriter Tyla and US rapper Flo Milli also cancelled their 2024 Australian visits, including appearances at Listen Out.
Acclaimed Atlanta hip hop duo EarthGang have since been added to the fest’s 2025 lineup, with local legends YNG Martyr and Sampa The Great also stepping in to fill the gaps.
The multi-stage national touring festival will continue this Saturday at Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds, before wrapping up at Sydney’s Centennial Park on Sunday.
