Pretty Lights will close out 2024 with a two-night New Year’s run at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The concerts at the home of DePaul University‘s men’s and women’s basketball teams will mark the electro-soul producer’s first New Year’s Eve concert since 2017 in Philadelphia.
The December 30th and 31st concerts will signal the end of the 24-date Soundship Spacesystem 2024 Check Your Vector Tour, which began in May with a two-night return to Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. A pre-sale for tickets will begin Thursday, October 17th at 10 a.m. CT, accessible only with a unique code from Seated. Fans who sign up for pre-sale access will receive an individualized code via email and SMS 20–60 minutes before the pre-sale begins. Tickets for the Pretty Lights 2024 New Year’s run in Chicago will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 18th at 10 a.m. CT.

The Chicago shows will wrap up another historic year for the livetronica ensemble helmed by Derek Vincent Smith. Continuing the inertia from Pretty Lights’ long-awaited 2023 return following a five-year absence, the Check Your Vector Tour brought the project to iconic festivals Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and both weekends of Austin City Limits Festival, as well as headlining dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Lake Tahoe Outdoor Center at Harvey’s, and more. Between lauded live performances, Pretty Lights also issued its first new release since 2017 with the five-song Dual Fusion Unity EP—initially accessible only by answering a series of riddles.
Pretty Lights still has three-night weekend engagements left on the calendar in Minneapolis, MN; St. Augustine, FL; and Boston, MA, plus a two-night Halloween run in Las Vegas. Find tickets and a full list of tour dates here.
