Billy Strings, James Taylor, The Avett Brothers, More Raise Over $24 Million For Hurricane Relief With ‘Concert For Carolina’

In addition to top-tier talent across country, bluegrass, and Americana, Saturday’s Concert For Carolina brought in over $24.5 million for Hurricane Helene relief efforts. The sold-out, record-breaking marathon concert at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium featured performances by Billy StringsJames Taylor, country superstars Eric Church and Luke Combs, and more.

The full Concert For Carolina lineup included performances by Sheryl Crow, Keith UrbanBailey Zimmerman, Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice, Parmalee, and Wesko. Country great Randy Travis and actress Nicole Kidman made surprise appearances while ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley served as the evening’s hosts.

The Concert For Carolina benefit set a record at the home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers with 82,913 in-person attendees, the largest-ever concert at Bank of America Stadium. Additionally, a press release notes that the concert livestream on Veeps “garnered 7.1 million total views” from fans in all 50 states and 30 countries around the globe. Together, this raised $24,513,185 and counting as silent auctions continue with memorabilia from the concert, sports tickets, and more up for sale.

Supporters can continue raising funds for Hurricane Helene victims in the silent auction now open here. Items include a guitar played and shirt worn by Luke Combs during his set, VIP experiences at Carolina Hurricanes and Charlotte Hornets games, concert tickets and meet-and-greets with Eric Church, signed jerseys from NFL, NBA, and NCAA players, airline miles, and much more. Proceeds from the concert, livestream, and silent auction will benefit Samaritan’s PurseManna Food BankSecond Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NCEblen Charities, and the organizations supported by Chief Cares, all of which are doing important relief work for the people in the Carolina region in the wake of the devastating storm.
