At the start of March, Mac DeMarco announced his new album Here Comes The Cowboy, which is due out May 10 via DeMarco’s record label. After releasing new single “All Of Our Yesterdays” at the start of April, the indie rocker took to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 29 to give a live preview of the track and support the new record.
DeMarco began his brief television appearance in the role of a vocalist, getting instrumental support from solely his band. Throughout the wistful tune, the “Chamber of Reflection” singer aired on the side of simplicity, offering tender and thoughtful vocals sans frills. Eventually, toward the end of the track, DeMarco donned an electric guitar, laying out a tasteful yet emotionally evocative guitar solo to end the performance.
