Widespread Panic closed out day two of the SweetWater 420 Festival in Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. Saturday’s lineup included sets from Everyone Orchestra, Big Something, Sunsquabi, Iration and Moon Taxi. The Georgia-rockers delivered two sets on the SweetWater Stage leaning in on some of their most well-known material for their first to two headlining slots at the festival.

The jamband stalwarts kicked off their night with “All Time Low” from their 1999 release ‘Til the Medicine Takes. From there, John Bell & Co. would dig in on a jam-heavy stretch that got off the ground with “Suprise Valley.” Funkadelic’s “Red Hot Mama” was followed by a pair of semi-rarities in recent years with “Pleas” and Bloodkin’s “Who Do You Belong To?” as setlist staple “Surprise Valley” put a cap on the run. Widespread Panic would reach back to their classic era to help close out the frame offering up “Holden Oversoul” and “Love Tractor” with a cover Alan Price’s “Sell Sell” thrown in between.

The six-piece act would continue to mine their 1990s output to get their second stanza off the ground looking first to “Pigeons” from their self-titled sophomore album. J.J. Cale’s “Travelin’ Light” came ahead of the pairing “Greta” and Talking Heads’ “Life During Wartime.” “Ribs & Whiskey” would be the “newest” song of the set having debuted in 2003. “Rebirtha” and the party anthem “Tall Boy” came ahead of the JoJo Hermann-sung “Big Wooly Mammoth” and fan-favorite “Chilly Water.”

The Southern jam act delivered a two-song encore looking to Van Morrison’s “And It Stoned Me” and “Makes Sense To Me.” Watch full show pro-shot video courtesy of nugs.tv below:
