Rumours are swirling around Taylor Swift since the release of her latest album Reputation, with the singer now tipped to bring her new album tour to Australia next year.

Swift announced North American tour dates for Reputation overnight, which will see her perform a stack of shows throughout 2018. And while plans for an Aussie tour are yet to be confirmed, initial reports suggest it’s in the works.

According to Herald Sun music journalist Cameron Adams, “The Australian leg of the Reputation tour will be in stadiums and is tipped to take place at the end of 2018.”

Meanwhile, Live Nation — the touring giant believed to be planning Swift’s next Australian tour — has had “no comment” about rumours of a new Aussie tour.

Swift previously toured Australia in 2015 behind her album 1989. During the tour she performed in stadiums in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne, supported by Aussie folk singer Vance Joy.

Her sixth studio album, Reputation, was released on Friday, 10th November, but Swift is keeping the album off streaming services for a week, pushing fans to purchase either physical or digital copies of the record.
