Built to Spill is hitting the road in 2020 with tour dates scheduled throughout the U.S. Frontman and guitarist Doug Martsch will also welcome a new drummer and bassist.
As Brooklyn Vegan reported, drummer Teresa Esguerra of Prism Bitch (who opened for Built To Spill in 2018) and bassist Melanie Radford of Boise, Idaho band Marshall Poole will join Martsch on the road in 2020 beginning with a show at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina tonight (February 26.)
The spring portion of the tour gets underway in Portland on March 22 and will include stops in Seattle, the band’s native Bosie, Salt Lake City, Colorado, Albuquerque, Arizona, Southern California and wrapping up in Berkley, California on April 5. The summer leg kicks off on June 4 in Las Vegas and will see BtS in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Texas, Nashville, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York, Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago and Minneapolis among others. The tour concludes in Denver on August 16.
