The Killers announced a new album, Imploding The Mirage, due out on May 29 via Island Records and shared the single, “Caution.” Frontman Brandon Flowers and company also expanded their tour to include dates in North America and Australia.

The newly announced North American dates — which will include support from legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr — get underway on August 18 at the Pepsi Center in Denver. The Killers will then hit major western markets including Salt Lake City, Vancouver, Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix and the band’s native Las Vegas. The tour then hops to Texas with shows in Houston, Fort Worth and Austin ahead of a run through the south including stops in Miami, Orlando, Atlanta and Nashville.

Next, The Killers hit the Midwest with engagements in St, Louis, St. Paul and Chicago before heading to Canada for shows in Toronto and Montreal. The tour then dips down to the East Coast with plays in Philadelphia, New York, Washington D.C. and Boston, among others. After a return to the Midwest with shows in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Detroit, The Killers head down under for a run through Australia before returning to North America for dates in Mexico. Tickets for the North American shows go on sale at 10 a.m. local time. Head here to purchase.

Brandon Flowers and the band enlisted the help of Foxygen’s Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado to produce the album, which the group recorded in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Flowers’ new adopted home of Park City, Utah. The Killers also welcomed a number of special guests — something of a rarity for the band — including kd lang, Weyes Blood, Adam Granduciel of The War On Drugs, Blake Mills, Lucius and legendary Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.

Buckingham plays on the new single, “Caution,” which was described in a statement as “all of Imploding The Mirage’s excellence densely packed into three and a half minutes.” Stream it below:
