Shovels & Rope shared an acoustic version of, “Carry Me Home,” from their 2019 album, By Blood. The duo also announced that the acoustic “Carry Me Home” will appear on the deluxe edition of By Blood set for release on August 21 via Dualtone.
The deluxe edition of By Blood will feature “Carry Me Home” along with four other acoustic reimaginings of the By Blood tracks “Come On Utah,” “The Wire,” “Mississippi Nuthin’” and “I’m Comin’ Out.” Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent recorded the acoustic takes at their home studio and will release them throughout the summer, culminating in the By Blood deluxe edition digital-only release in mid-August.
