OurVinyl Sessions is a long-standing video series, which has just released their newest pro-shot performance. Featuring rising jamgrass star Billy Strings, Strings and his band perform “Dust In A Baggie”, which was originally released on his six-track self-titled 2016 EP. Joined by banjo picker Billy Failing, bassist Royal Masat, and mandolinist Jarrod Walker, Strings and company performed the up-tempo bluegrass number at Starstruck Studios in Nashville, TN, for the OurVinyl Sessions taping. JJ Grey and Mofro, The Wood Brothers, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, Trevor Hall, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Zach Deputy, and Dispatch are a few notable names that have appeared on OurVinyl Sessions’ video series previously.
Billy Strings is currently getting ready to hit the road for a jam-packed fall tour, starting September 20th at Berryville, VA’s Watermelon Park Fest. Along the way, the bluegrass virtuoso will perform with a few other acts, including the Jon Stickley Trio (November 23rd) and The Larry Keel Experience (November 24th), and play a special two-night stand at The Intersection in his native Michigan. The massive fall tour will culminate November 30th and December 1st in Colorado with performances at Boulder’s Fox Theatre and Denver’s Gothic Theater.
