Nine-piece funk band Turkuaz will release the long-awaited studio album Life In The City via Electric Habitat Music on September 28. The Brooklyn-based group released a video featuring a live performance of the LP’s second single “If I Ever Fall Alseep” as well as audio of the studio version.
Turkuaz tapped Talking Heads keyboardist Jerry Harrison to co-produce “If I Ever Fall Asleep.” Harrison previously worked with the band on the single “On The Run.” The release of “If I Ever Fall Asleep” comes weeks after Turkuaz shared the title track for Life In The City.
