Wilco released Summerteeth: Deluxe Edition, an expanded version of their third studio album, 1999’s Summerteeth. The updated album features previously unreleased material including 24 outtakes/alternate versions of songs and demos.
The Summerteeth: Deluxe Edition is available on digital streaming services and in physical formats as 4-CD and 5-LP vinyl sets. All versions come with Bob Ludwig’s 2020 remaster of the original album. The digital and CD editions expand with the inclusion of an uncirculated soundboard recording of Wilco’s November 1, 1999 concert in support of Summerteeth at The Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado. The show was performed by the Wilco lineup at the time of Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Ken Coomer and Jay Bennett.
In place of the Boulder show, the limited-edition vinyl version presents a live in-store performance from Tower Records on March 11, 1999, previously broadcasted on Chicago radio station WXRT. The Summerteeth: Deluxe Edition cover art is an updated version of the original, both of which were designed by Lawrence Azerrad.
