Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires will team up for a duet concert on December 12th at the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center in Cayce, South Carolina, the couple announced on Tuesday. Earlier this month, Isbell and his wife/400 Unit bandmate put on a series of three concerts throughout the Carolinas as well as kicked off the Live From The Drive In series at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA back on October 16th.

Much like their previous duo performances—both live and for the I So Lounging streaming series—the concert will see both talented musicians exploring one another’s expansive songbooks. From Isbell and Shires’ respective solo catalogs through their work together as Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit—including their new album Reunions—everything is on the table, including choice covers.
Tickets for Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires at the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center in South Carolina go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, November 19th. The tickets are available for groups no larger than four, and will reportedly range from $180 to $260, according to venue officials. Click here for more information.
The couple recently made headlines following last week’s Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. Isbell and Shires joined in with other prominent country musicians including Sturgill Simpson in calling out the Association’s blatant disregard for John Prine, as well as recently-deceased outlaw country legends Jerry Jeff Walker and Billy Joe Shaver, during the award ceremony. Shires and Isbell even went a step further and have returned their memberships to the governing body.
