Dead & Company is getting ready to return to Riviera Maya, Mexico for their second annual Playing in the Sand destination event. Hosted by the band and partners CID Presents from January 17th–20th, 2019, Playing In The Sand will see band members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Mickey Hart, John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti perform for three nights on an intimate, white sandy Mexican beach, just feet away from the Caribbean.
Joining Dead & Company for their beach extravaganza are legendary New Orleans-based funk act, Dumpstaphunk, and blues-rock sister act, Larkin Poe. The two supporting bands will each play one set on the beach during the night that Dead & Company has off. The official schedule will be released closer to show.
