WXPN premiered the new Ryan Adams song “Doylestown Girl” from his upcoming new album Big Colors. The record, which is one of three Adams plans to release this year, is due on April 19 via Blue Note Records/Capitol Records.
Adams previously confirmed that he co-produced Big Colors with Beatriz Artola, who also worked on 2017’s Prisoner. Don Was served as “spiritual guide” on Big Colors and the other confirmed upcoming album Wednesdays, which Artola also co-produced. Benmont Tench of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Bob Mould contributed to Big Colors.
