[UPDATE 1/18/21]: Trouble No More, the all-new Allman Brothers Band tribute act, has announced a second show at New York’s Beacon Theatre on Saturday, March 26th following the rapid sellout of the group’s debut show on Friday, March 25th.
The initial, one-off Trouble No More performance on 3/25 was devised as a 50th anniversary celebration for the Allmans’ beloved 1972 album, Eat A Peach. The new date on Saturday, March 26th adds an additional layer of historical significance to the proceedings: On March 26th, 1969—53 years to the day before the Saturday show—a still-unnamed six-piece band opened its first-ever rehearsal with a cover of Muddy Waters‘ “Trouble No More”. That group would soon become known as the Allman Brothers Band.
On October 28th, 2014, many decades and evolutions later, the Allman Brothers Band played its last-ever show—at New York’s Beacon Theatre, a venue that had long been the group’s home base. Following final goodbyes and speeches, the band closed the show with one final song, the same one they had started with back in 1969: “Trouble No More”.
The new Trouble No More ensemble set to appear at the Beacon in March 2022 will continue that ever-expanding story with more than just its name. The band, set to honor the Allmans’ famous body of work, is comprised of an inter-generational mix of ABB descendants, collaborators, proteges, and extended “family” members including Brandon “Taz” Niederauer (guitar/vocals), Daniel Donato (guitar/vocals), Dylan Niederauer (bass guitar), Jack Ryan (drums), Nikki Glaspie (drums), Lamar Williams Jr. (vocals), Peter Levin (keys), and Roosevelt Collier (pedal steel guitar).

[1/4/22]: The music and legacy of The Allman Brothers Band will be on display at New York’s Beacon Theatre on March 25th courtesy of a new band, Trouble No More. The performance comes in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band’s famed 1972 LP, Eat A Peach.
The all-star Trouble No More ensemble, named for the Muddy Waters song famously covered and issued by the Allmans on numerous occasions, features Brandon “Taz” Niederauer (guitar/vocals), Daniel Donato (guitar/vocals), Dylan Niederauer (bass guitar), Jack Ryan (drums), Nikki Glaspie (drums), Lamar Williams Jr. (vocals), Peter Levin (keys), and Roosevelt Collier (pedal steel guitar).
Appearing at the storied venue where the Allman Brothers Band played 238 straight sold-out shows, this new group represents a mix of direct Allman Brothers Band descendants, collaborators, proteges, and extended “family” members who are making their own way in the music world today—a living reminder that this road truly does go on forever.

A portion of the proceeds from the Trouble No More tribute to 50 years of Eat A Peach at The Beacon Theatre on March 25th will benefit the Big House Foundation in the ABB’s native Macon, GA. The primary mission of the Big House Foundation is to preserve and promote the rich musical heritage and inclusive diverse culture of the Allman Brothers Band through programs revolving around education and exhibition.
