St. Paul and The Broken Bones unveiled video featuring a live, in-studio performance of their cover of David Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream.” Additionally, the Birmingham, Alabama-based band announced they will appear at Jazz Aspen Snowmass’ Labor Day Weekend installment on Friday, September 2.

David Bowie originally released “Moonage Daydream” on his iconic 1972 studio album, The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars. St. Paul And The Broken Bones played the song at 19 concerts between 2014 and 2017 as per Setlist.FM.

“Alabama has a lot of space history, so anything to do with that informs a lot of what we do artistically. I think it’s honestly kind of the idea of wanting to escape at times,” frontman Paul Janeway told Rolling Stone, the outlet that premiered the video. “I’m always attracted to the weirdo, artsy, the space element: everything about Bowie speaks to me.”
