The Rail Rider Jamboree comes back for its second year in 2023 boasting a lineup that includes Dark Star Orchestra, Mike Gantzer, Eggy and more. Presented by the Borderland Music + Arts Festival team, the one-day event will take place at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, New York on March 18, 2023.
Dark Star Orchestra will play two sets at Rail Rider Jamboree 2023, while Aqueous guitarist Mike Gantzer is putting together a Gantzer & Friends ensemble for the festival. Grub, The Buffalo Brass Machine and Folkfaces round out the lineup.
In addition to the music, Rail Rider Jamboree will also feature skiing, snowboarding competition, brews and more. Sets will take place outdoors with music scheduled to begin around 1 p.m. “I produced winter festivals on the west coast for 8 years, so it’s great to be able to bring this together at Holiday Valley in my backyard,” explained Ginger Root Productions and Borderland Festival owner, Jennifer Brazill. “I am really excited about merging music and mountains and curating a 1 day, boutique event….it’s always such a good time.”
