Electron and Beard-o-Bees will perform a special concert at Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania on May 15. Proceeds from the show will go to the family of Lotus percussionist Chuck Morris, who along with his son Charley Morris, died recently in a tragic kayaking accident.
Electron consists of Lotus drummer Mike Greenfield, The Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead/Ghost Light guitarist Tom Hamilton. Beard-o-Bees is the side-project of Lotus co-founder Jesse Miller.
Tickets to the benefit concert are currently on sale with 100% of the proceeds going to the Morris family. Purchase Electron and Beard-o-Bees tickets now. A GoFundMe campaign was established to support the Morris family.

Chuck Morris and his son Charley Morris were reported missing on Thursday, March 16 after embarking on a kayaking trip while vacationing on Beaver Lake near Fayetteville, Arkansas. On Tuesday, March 21, Lotus reported the search for the missing pair had shifted to a recovery effort. Officials announced that on Sunday, April 9 they recovered the missing men.
In addition to the Electron and Beard-O-Bees concert at Ardmore Music Hall, Lotus will host a pair of benefit concerts celebrating the lives of Chuck and Charley Morris at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on April 21 and 22. Lotus will be joined by a number of close musical friends and collaborators at both concerts. Full net proceeds from the guest-filled shows will go to the Morris Family.
Lotus will proceed with concerts on May 5 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and May 6 in Port Chester, New York as benefits for the Morris Family. The band postponed next month’s West Coast tour.
