Jam band dream team Blue Star Radiation assembled for a weekend run in the Northeast with Al Schnier and Rob Derhak‘s moe.stly acoustic duo opening the shows.
The ensemble consisting of moe. members Rob Derhak on bass, Vinnie Amico on drums, and Nate Wilson on keyboards alongside Tim Palmieri of Lotus on guitar began with a visit to The Homestead in Morristown, NJ on Wednesday before making its way to Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs, NY on Thursday. The band then headed to New England for shows at Club Metronome in Burlington, VT, The Met in Pawtucket, RI, and Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, MA.
Blue Star Radiation played a mix of moe. and classic rock, with Al Schnier and Rob Derhak opening each show with an Al & Rob moe.stly acoustic set. Schnier also sat in with Blue Star Radiation, including on a spirited cover of The Band‘s “Up On Cripple Creek” in Pawtucket.
