While Black Friday doesn’t technically start until this Friday, Nov. 24, early Black Friday deals are abundant, and you should be shopping early to take advantage of some of the best deals of the year. Retailers like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart have been releasing Black Friday deals, and Amazon started their Black Friday promotions a few days ago (and they’ll run until Nov. 24). You can find Lifehacker Deputy Editor Joel Cunningham’s favorite Amazon tech deals here, but if you’re looking for a deal on a Ring video doorbell or bundle, keep reading below.

The Ring Video Doorbell 2nd Generation is 45% off

The second-generation Ring Video Doorbell is currently 45% off on Amazon at $54.99 (originally $99.99). This matches the lowest price it’s ever been, according to Camelcamelcamel’s price history. The second generation came out in 2020 and has a “good” review from PCMag. This wireless model is battery-powered, meaning you just have to install a mounting bracket next to your door and click the Ring Video Doorbell into place. The non-removable battery lasts six to 12 months, depending on usage. You get 1080p resolution video, Alexa connectivity, 155-degree viewpoint, cloud storage, two-way audio, and night vision. You’ll get phone notifications through their app whenever you have activity at your door. If you’re looking for an indoor camera as well, consider the bundle with the second-generation indoor camera for $79.99 (originally $139.99) or with the wireless battery-powered Stick Up Camera for $99.99 (originally $179.99).

The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus is 33% off

If you’re looking for the latest battery-powered Ring doorbell available, consider the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus for $119.99 (originally $179.99). This is the lowest price it’s ever been, according to Camelcamelcamel’s price history. PCMag gave this newest version a “good” review, given its better resolution and wider angle compared to the second-generation Ring Battery Doorbell. For a bit more than twice the cost, you’ll get the same features as the Ring Video Doorbell, plus 1536p resolution video, a 150-degree field of view, an alarm, and intelligent motion detection (so you don’t get bombarded with notifications of cars driving by), and the choice of either wiring the doorbell or using the battery. If you’re looking for a floodlight as well, consider the bundle with the Spotlight Cam Battery Plus for $219.99.

The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 is 40% off

The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 is an “excellent” doorbell security camera, according to PCMag’s review, and you can get one for $149.99 (originally $249.99). This is the lowest price it’s ever been, according to Camelcamelcamel’s price history. This security doorbell was released in 2021 and has 1536p, 3D Motion Detection, which sets a 30-foot motion perimeter and a unique bird’s-eye view feature with radar technology showing you an aerial image of motion activity on your property. This doorbell is wired, and you will need to have existing doorbell wiring to install this Ring camera. If you’re interested in a floodlight camera, consider this bundle for $249.99, which comes with a Floodlight Cam Wired Plus.

Keep in mind no Ring devices are compatible with Google Assistant or Apple HomeKit. Also, all Ring products need a Ring Protect Plan subscription, starting at $3.99 per month, if you want to record all your videos, review what you’ve missed for up to 180 days, and share videos and photos. Be mindful that Ring, along with Google, has a history of sharing video footage with law enforcement during emergencies without consent and without warrants, according to a Politico report.
