The tour previously saw Smith incorporate a number of jam band samples, including the Grateful Dead‘s “Shakedown Street”, “Althea”, “Touch of Grey”,  and “Lost Sailor” and Phish‘s “Free”. He even sang an ethereal rendition of the Dead’s “Dark Star”, putting a distinctive, lo-fi hip-hop stamp on the celestial free-form jam vehicle.
