After traveling the South with her band Southern Star on her Southern Exposure 2024 tour, harpist/singer-songwriter Mikaela Davis concluded an extensive run of spring tour dates on the East Coast with a pair of shows at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ and Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn.
Davis has been putting the pedal to the metal in recent months, having toured alongside Circles Around The Sun after releasing a collaborative EP, After Sunrise, with the psychedelic outfit, as well as with her own band, with whom she released her sophomore album, And Southern Star, last summer. Since then, she has remained busy, with apparently no plans to slow down anytime soon.
Davis is currently on tour with Grateful Shred and Circles Around The Sun, and today, the bardic bandleader announced a fresh batch of West Coast tour dates, including a handful of headlining debuts in major markets. The run kicks off July 21st in San Rafael, CA, where Davis will perform with Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh at Sunshine Daydream Vol. 3.
From there, Davis will take her band through Big Sky, MT (7/25), Seattle (7/27), and Portland (7/28), before arriving in California for shows in San Francisco (7/30), Morro Bay (7/31), Los Angeles (8/1), Ojai (8/2), and San Diego (8/3).
Finally, the western trek is set to conclude with stops in Salt Lake City (8/6), Denver (8/8), and Fort Collins (8/9). Most dates on the tour will feature special guest Jeffrey Silverstein.
