The Black Keys have canceled the US leg of their International Players Tour without explanation.

The tour in support of the blues-rock duo’s latest album, Ohio Players, just wrapped its European leg and was set to continue with a run of arena dates throughout the US. However, the entire tour has been scrubbed from the band’s website, with the exception of a one-off show on July 6th at Chicago’s NASCAR Street Race. Venues’ individual show listings acknowledge the cancelations and ensure fans will automatically receive refunds. The band and its representatives have offered no explanation for the sudden schedule change and have not responded to requests for comment.

Some on social media have speculated that the cancelation could be due at least in part to low ticket sales, though this is not confirmed, including writer Scott Heisel, who posted on X, “The Black Keys just canceled their entire North American arena tour for this fall due to extremely poor sales (likely due to exorbitantly priced tickets — most markets were $100+ just to get in the building).” Heisel also posted an image appearing to show a seating chart for the band’s November 2nd concert at Baltimore’s CFG Band Arena with the vast of majority of tickets still available.

The Black Keys performed on The Voice earlier this week and premiered their new documentary, This Is a Film About the Black Keys, at South by Southwest last month. Their new album, Ohio Players, dropped on April 5th.
