Hyryder and Rich Hardesty are offering snowbirds a sublime sonic getaway this winter with Jamaican Daydream. Set for January 25th–29th, 2025, the destination event will take fans to the pristine beaches of Negril, Jamaica for a musical getaway hosted by the Grateful Dead tribute band and the island-influenced singer-songwriter.
Hyryder and Hardesty will play six shows each at Jamaican Daydream, four evening shows and two sunset shows apiece, as the time-honored folk, blues, and rock traditions of the Grateful Dead coalesce with Hardesty’s unique blend of rock n’ roll country and reggae bounce. In addition to the two headlining acts, the destination event will host “Sunset Soul Shakedown” parties featuring local DJs Robert Sergeant and Delroy Melody and abundant jerk chicken and rum.
The music, however, is only part of Hyryder and Hardesty’s Jamaican Daydream. When not playin’ in the sand at the WAVZ Beach Club where most of the shows are held, guests can participate in a variety of activities and excursions. A guided trip to Mayfield Falls will bring visitors to one of the Caribbean’s most breathtaking waterfalls. Afternoon catamaran party cruises will give music fans a chance to snorkel and get up-close and personal with tropical fish, rays, sea turtles, and more. A day of service at a local school will allow attendees to give back to the island’s community by distributing much-needed supplies to classrooms and meeting staff and students. Those who join the effort may even hear a few tunes from the participating artists.

Travelers to Jamaican Daydream will have a range of lodging options ranging from cost-conscious to luxury, starting at $749 per person for the five-day event with some sites offering all-inclusive packages. Many of the resorts and hotels are located along Negril’s Seven-Mile Beach and are a short oceanside walk from the concert venue. Guests must purchase a hotel package to attend the concerts. Travel packages include access to all performances, four nights of accommodations, transportation to and from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, afternoon activities, on-site representatives, a commemorative t-shirt, and more. The first 100 guests to book their room will receive $100 off. Payment plans are available until September 30th.
